Meet the goats, sample some cheese, and view the cheese room. Learn about these entertaining and useful animals. The farm stand will be open with farm products for sale and the wood fired pizza oven will be going!
Goats, chickens, pea fowl, barn cats, rollicking roosters and chipmunks too! This is a chance to hang out on the observation deck, feed the goats some munchies, and purchase Appleton Creamery cheese and Sisters Soap.

With November upon us we have some great news. The Appleton Cheese Trail is extending Saturday open farms into November, closing after Thanksgiving. We may be open at Appleton Creamery on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving if supplies allow. We’ll keep you posted on that. We’re doing the Maine Harvest Festival in Bangor, and will be selling at both Bath and Belfast Farmers’ Markets again this winter. Read on for details. Continue reading
We’re participating in Maine’s Open Farm Day again this year along with scores of other Maine farms. On Sunday July 24 from 11am to 4pm you can meet the goats, tour the farm & dairy, see cheese being made, sample & buy cheese. The pizza oven will be going! Also check out nearby wineries.
